A guided campus tour and information session

Our student-guided campus tour provides a close-up view of the facilities and resources available to Scripps students, as well as insight into the academic and social life of the College. The information session, led by a Scripps admission officer, provides an opportunity for prospective students and families to ask questions about application procedures, admission policies, and other topics. Online reservations are recommended but not required.

An overnight stay or class visit

Current high school seniors can experience life on campus by spending the night in a Scripps residence hall, hosted by a current student, or by sitting in on a Scripps class. Overnight stays require online reservations at least 10 days in advance and are available during the academic year only. Visit the admission office to learn about your class visit options when you come to campus.

An admission interview

Interviews, while not required for admission, can give you the opportunity to discuss your interests and goals, and to learn more about Scripps and the admission process. Campus interviews can be scheduled online, and a week’s advance notice is required.

What Current Students Are Saying About Scripps

"What I took away [from my visit to Scripps]: a tightly knit community that is diverse and global; a sense of tradition but also modernity; an environment of seclusion yet a sense of belonging to the Claremont consortium."

"Scripps is the right environment for me because it offers a unique liberal arts education, a close-knit and nurturing community of curious women who love to learn, and an environment that encourages creativity and individuality."
