A guided campus tour and information session

Our student-led campus tour provides a close-up view of the facilities and resources available to Scripps students, as well as insight into the academic and social life of the College. During the academic year, tours are generally offered Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, and 2:00 p.m. Information sessions, offered weekdays at 1:15 p.m., include a presentation about Scripps College and feature plenty of time for questions and discussion with an admission officer. Online reservations are recommended but not required.

An overnight stay or class visit

Current high school seniors and transfer students can experience life on campus by spending the night in a Scripps residence hall, hosted by a current student, or by sitting in on a Scripps class. Overnight stays and class visit requests both require online reservations at least 10 days in advance and are available during the academic year only.

An admission interview

Interviews, while not required for admission, can give you the opportunity to discuss your interests and goals, and to learn more about Scripps and the admission process. Campus interviews can be scheduled online, and a week’s advance notice is required.

What Current Students Are Saying About Scripps

"What I took away [from my visit to Scripps]: a tightly knit community that is diverse and global; a sense of tradition but also modernity; an environment of seclusion yet a sense of belonging to the Claremont consortium."

"Scripps is the right environment for me because it offers a unique liberal arts education, a close-knit and nurturing community of curious women who love to learn, and an environment that encourages creativity and individuality."
