How to Apply to Scripps College via QuestBridge
Students who are interested in applying to Scripps College through the QuestBridge National College Match program must submit their College Match application to QuestBridge by September 28. Students then must submit their match rankings to QuestBridge by October 15. Please think very carefully about the ranking process because it is a binding contract for many College Match schools, including Scripps College. On October 22, students will be notified of their QuestBridge finalist status. Students who become QuestBridge finalists must submit the following additional materials to Scripps College by November 15 2012:
- Official high school transcript(s), mailed or emailed directly by your counselor to questbridge@scrippscollege.edu
- Official SAT Reasoning or ACT scores, sent directly from College Board/ACT or on your official transcript
Information for Non-Matched QuestBridge Finalists
QuestBridge finalists who do not match with a college through the National College Match program may still apply to Scripps via Early Decision II or Regular Decision. All first-year applicants are automatically considered for Trustee ($15,000 annually) and Presidential ($10,000 annually) scholarships. More information about these awards is available on the Merit-Based Scholarships page.
Early Decision is an excellent option for students who know that Scripps is their top-choice college. Early Decision is a binding agreement that provides an early application review and notification of admission decision. Applicants admitted through Early Decision must withdraw their application(s) to other colleges and enroll at Scripps.
Regular Decision allows students maximum flexibility in their college admission choice. This is a non-binding admission plan and students are notified of their admission on April 1.
Visit the Financial Aid page to learn more about need-based financial aid for all applicants, including filing deadlines for the CSS/PROFILE and FAFSA.
